Alf’s son, Eric joined his father in the stone masonry trade in 1969. Then in 2001, Eric’s son Shaun joined the stone masonry trade.

Shaun’s enjoyment of masonry preservation and restoration in the Vancouver BC area led him to purchase Van den Kerkhof & Son Masonry Ltd. in 2015; when Eric retired.

Shaun is proud to be the 3rd generation to continue working in the stone masonry trade. He looks forward to the future of preserving heritage sites and monuments in Vancouver and abroad.
